A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year at a K-12 educational setting near Decatur, GA. This onsite, W2 contract opportunity offers a supportive environment where you will primarily provide compensatory services to students, helping to enhance their communication skills and support their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compensatory speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized educational plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies, including participation in fingerprint background checks
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia SLP license and appropriate school credentials
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school or pediatric settings, with knowledge of educational protocols
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite school environment during the current school year
