Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available working with a dynamic K-12 school setting in Long Beach, California. This contract position offers a consistent 37.5 hours per week caseload, providing valuable experience in pediatric speech and language services throughout the school year (CSY). The role is ideal for licensed SLPs holding CCC credentials or currently completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), as well as for School-based Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with school experience. Key Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or enrollment in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or interest in pediatric speech-language services within a school setting Valid license or certification to work as an SLP or SLPA in the school environment Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a diverse K-12 caseload Location: Long Beach, California, supporting students across kindergarten through grade 12 Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language assessments and therapeutic interventions to students Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress per school district guidelines Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities Benefits: Full-time schedule with a structured 37.5 hours per week workload Opportunity to work with a supportive director eager to conduct interviews this week Valuable experience across a broad age range from kindergarten to high school This position offers a rewarding chance to impact student communication skills while gaining practical experience in a school-based environment.
