Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an on-site elementary and secondary school located in the Lacey and Centralia, WA area. This contract role is designed for the current school year (CSY) and offers dedicated professionals the opportunity to support students' communication and language development within dynamic educational settings. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students at elementary and secondary levels. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech, language, and communication needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment. Document student progress and maintain detailed, confidential records. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide guidance on communication-related accommodations. Desired Qualifications: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with state licensure in Washington. Experience working with elementary and secondary school-age children. Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies. Ability to work full-time onsite, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in school settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and educators. Location: On-site at elementary and/or secondary schools in Lacey and Centralia, WA.
