Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students in Cambridge, MA for a full semester contract. This role focuses on delivering essential speech and language services to help young learners overcome communication challenges and thrive academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized speech and language assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans. Implement evidence-based therapy sessions targeting articulation, language development, fluency, and voice disorders. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate speech goals within classroom activities. Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans. Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and learning styles. Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged children. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, families, and staff effectively. Ability to develop creative and individualized treatment approaches.
