Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF)

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available with a contracted, school-year assignment starting September 2nd, with flexibility as needed. This role serves an elementary school setting in Brimley, MI, providing a rewarding opportunity to work with young students across two school locations. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The caseload is approximately 49 students, split between two schoolsone serving K-1 students and the other K-8. Collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals is essential to support student success and communication development. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-8 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Conduct speech and language assessments and maintain detailed records Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities Communicate progress regularly with families and the educational team Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience in pediatrics and school settings preferred Familiarity with teletherapy services is an asset Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable Strong interpersonal and communication skills Work Schedule and Location: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Work split between two elementary schools in Brimley, MI Contract position aligned with the school calendar year This role fits SLP professionals passionate about working with children and making a meaningful impact through school-based therapy.
