School Occupational Therapist - Columbus, Ohio

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Columbus, OH, serving both an elementary and a middle school. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY), with an anticipated duration of 4 to 12 weeks, starting as soon as possible. The therapist will support a caseload of approximately 5060 students.

Responsibilities include providing occupational therapy services, conducting assessments and evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and documenting progress using the Samegoal IEP system. This itinerant role requires travel between two schools, with travel time compensated and mileage reimbursement available upon inquiry.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy License required
• Experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based OT preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of 5060 students across elementary and middle school levels
• Skilled in conducting assessments, evaluations, and collaborating in IEP meetings
• Comfortable using electronic IEP systems, particularly Samegoal

Work Schedule and Location:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 7:25 AM to 2:55 PM
• Located in Columbus, OH (serving two schools in the area)
