Speech Language Pathologist

The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following probationary position for the 2025/2026 School Year: Speech Language Pathologist - Lakeview Elementary School Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students (K-5) Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in accordance with IDEA Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success Provide speech and language therapy in individual and group settings Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and staff development Support students across general and special education settings Function as a case manager and assist in coordinating and obtaining other needed services. Participate in MTSS meetings, collaborating with teachers and specialists to support students at all tiers (Tier 1, 2, and 3) & provide targeted interventions for students within Tier 2/Tier 3 needs NYS Speech certification required Three years experience working with young children as a speech/language pathologist is preferred The Mahopac Central School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
