Occupational Therapist School Setting in Byron, IL

A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to serve K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year in Byron, IL. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week working directly within a K-12 educational setting, providing specialized OT services to support student development and success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy License
• Experience working in both healthcare and school environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students across grades K-12
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions accordingly
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
