School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school in Eden Prairie, MN, to provide therapy services primarily to middle and high school students. This contract position runs from September 2, 2025, to June 5, 2026, with an approximate 37.5-hour workweek. Hours may vary slightly depending on case management duties and attendance at IEP meetings. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy to approximately 30 students Manage caseload and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with educators and related service providers Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, which may extend beyond student day hours Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working in school settings, preferably with middle and high school students Knowledge of IEP development and special education laws Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Schedule Details: Staff arrival begins at 7:20 AM Student arrival between 7:50 AM and 8:05 AM Student day ends at 3:00 PM IEP meetings may extend until 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM This position offers the opportunity to support students' communication development in an educational environment with a consistent schedule and collaborative team setting.
