Title: Virtual School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) - Colorado

Location: Remote (Colorado)

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team in a virtual capacity, providing essential services to students in Colorado schools. This is a 1099 position, offering the flexibility to work remotely while making a meaningful impact on the educational experience of students.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate the sensory, motor, and self-regulation needs of students.
2. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and parents.
3. Provide virtual therapy sessions to address fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, and other occupational therapy goals.
4. Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to integrate therapy strategies into the virtual school environment.
5. Participate in virtual IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy plans.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Colorado.
2. Experience in school-based occupational therapy a plus
3. Familiarity with virtual platforms and technology for remote service delivery.
4. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a virtual school setting.
