Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Wilmington, NC

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized therapy services for an elementary school caseload in Wilmington, NC. This contract position spans the full school year, working five days per week with a 40-hour workweek focused on delivering high-quality care to elementary-aged students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid NC Speech Language Pathologist license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA mandatory
• Prior experience in school settings strongly preferred
• Pediatric caseload experience beneficial
• Teletherapy skills and familiarity with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) practices are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Deliver therapy services in person and through teletherapy platforms as needed
• Document and track student progress, maintaining compliance with school policies and ASHA standards
• Participate in meetings and contribute to educational planning for students requiring speech-language support

Location and Work Environment:

• Position based in Wilmington, NC at an elementary school
• Contract duration aligned with the academic year schedule
• Full-time hours, Monday through Friday
