Guidance Counselor Jobs in District of Columbia
A Guidance Counselor, also known as a School Counselor, plays a crucial role in school administration. They provide support to students, helping them with their academic, career, and emotional development. Prior to becoming a Guidance Counselor, a person may have roles such as a Teacher, a Social Worker, or a School Psychologist, all of which can provide valuable experience and skills for the counseling role.
