Speech-Language Pathologist Jobs in Gifford, SC
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in school administration is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and communication disorders in students. They should have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Additionally, they should be licensed in the state where they practice. Prior to becoming an SLP, a person may have roles as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, a Special Education Teacher, or a School Counselor.
