As a Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite, you'll partner with a diverse student population, addressing a range of disabilities from mild to severe while making a real difference in their communication skills and academic success.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Washington State SLP Certification (required)
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Experience in school-based settings highly valued
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and IEP writing skills
  • Comfortable providing services to children with various disabilities from elementary through high school
  • Adaptable and collaborative approach to working with families, teachers, and special education teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students onsite, in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders
  • Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and development
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations as needed, maintaining detailed records
  • Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student progress and needs
