Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A part-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving students in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. This contract position is based in Georgetown, Delaware, supporting a growing caseload within a school setting. The schedule includes 2 full days of direct OT services and an additional half-day reserved for meetings and testing. The expected start date is the end of August, continuing through the end of the academic year. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-6 students Conduct assessments and participate in meetings related to student progress Collaborate with educators and staff to support individualized education plans Adapt service delivery methods as needed, with an initial in-person requirement and potential for virtual services beginning in August Desired Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), although Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) candidates will be considered Prior experience working in school-based settings is preferred Ability to manage a growing caseload effectively Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators Flexibility with the partial virtual service model anticipated later in the year Location: Georgetown, Delaware This role offers the chance to impact young learners through expert OT intervention within an educational environment.
