Job Goal

To provide elementary level students with an enriched library environment containing a wide variety and range of materials that will invite intellectual growth, and to aid all students in acquiring the skills needed to take full advantage of library resources.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of current research, theory, and pedagogy as it relates to media/library services
• Successful experience working with school age children

Looking for an energetic team player who is willing to work collaboratively with students, staff and parents to support students in the love of reading.

Certification: Library Media Specialist certification (071) through the Maine Department of Education
