Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting K-8 students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a local school community. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from ASAP until the end of the current school year. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with elementary and middle school students facing mild to general speech and language challenges, using your expertise to make a meaningful impact. In this collaborative educational environment, you'll manage your own caseload (no SLPA supervision required), engaging with both students and staff to help every child reach their communication goals. What You'll Bring: Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Experience working with K-8 students Strong background in assessing and treating mild to general speech and language disorders Ability to thrive in an onsite, school-based setting Excellent communication and documentation skills Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for K-8 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy for general and mild student needs Monitor student progress and update goals as necessary Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Contribute to a positive, inclusive school atmosphere This is your opportunity to influence students' growth and success through meaningful speech-language intervention at a school near Ventura, CA.
