Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Eligibility for Alabama licensure and ASHA Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A passion for child-focused interventions and collaborative teamwork
• Ability to adapt therapy plans based on student needs
• Previous school-based experience or practicum strongly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in collaboration with educators and families
• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain accurate records
• Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff on strategies and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teamwork
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district documentation requirements
