Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for, or already possessing, provisional state licensure as an SLP/CFY
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Eagerness to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and a passion for making a difference in school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments for students referred for services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals under supervision
- Provide direct therapy sessions individually or in group settings
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering input and recommendations
- Communicate student progress and challenges with families and staff
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills
