Qualifications: Possess and maintain a valid Michigan teaching certificate with a Master's Degree preferred Ability to meet the State of Michigan School Administrator Certification requirements Must have a minimum of five (5) years successful teaching experience, with prior administrative experience preferred Extensive knowledge in curriculum development, use of student achievement data, MTSS, and PBIS Demonstrate knowledge of a collaborative process to build consensus and enable teachers to provide research-based instructional strategies that encourage student achievement Proven leadership ability in working with students, parents, professional staff and other administrators Ability to work as part of the Administrative team focused on the District's interest and goals Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Common Core State Standards and experience with curriculum and the school improvement process, including working with PLC's Strong technology skills and ability to integrate technology to enhance instruction Responsibilities & Duties: Build relationships with students, staff, parents and the community Support the vision of the principal and District to staff, including planning, review and implementation of curriculum and professional development Maintain a safe and orderly school environment, fostering collaboration among staff, students and parents Active participation and leadership in professional development for all building staff Support the school improvement plan to create a high-quality teaching/learning environment and culture Supervise and evaluate staff and teachers as directed by the Principal Maintain appropriate written documentation of personnel matters, and share same with Human Resources Ability to promote strong parental and staff involvement to create a school vision for a quality program Terms of Employment: Administrative Contract and Benefits Contingent upon passing post-offer background checks Apply Now
