Key experience and qualifications:
- Active SLP license in the state of Michigan required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA-CCC) must be current
- Experience supporting students at a variety of grade levels
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Ability to manage and prioritize caseloads across early childhood through high school settings
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered intervention practices
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and screenings to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Tracking and documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with school staff to support student success
- Providing support to families and staff through consultation and training
- Staying current on best practices, state requirements, and school policies
