Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract We're partnering with a supportive school district in the Charleston area to hire a licensed School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a high-impact role working with a collaborative SPED team that values strong clinical judgment and compliance expertise. Position Details:
Full-time, onsite
2026-2027 school year
K-12 caseload (assigned based on experience)
Structured support from district leadership and special education team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
Interpret assessment data and develop clear, legally compliant reports
Lead and participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
Provide evidence-based recommendations for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
Support MTSS/RTI processes and progress monitoring
Required Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Active South Carolina School Psychologist license required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Experience conducting evaluations and writing reports in a school setting
Strong knowledge of IDEA, special education compliance, and eligibility criteria
