Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and current School Psychologist certification
• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
• Background in conducting psychoeducational assessments
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, behavioral consultation, and counseling
• Understanding of special education law, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning
• Interpret data and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and student support plans
• Provide direct counseling, intervention, and consultative services to students, families, and staff
• Participate in eligibility determination meetings, case conferences, and school-wide initiatives
• Offer crisis intervention and response services as needed
• Support educators and staff with strategies for positive behavior support and effective classroom management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
