Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience performing assessments, developing intervention strategies, and interpreting psychological evaluations within a school setting
• Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
• Compassionate approach and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and behavior intervention plans
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
• Lead and participate in school-based support and problem-solving teams
• Advise faculty and parents on strategies for supporting student needs
• Engage in data-driven decision making to improve student outcomes
• Promote programs that enhance school climate and students social-emotional well-being
