Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract A school district in Ithaca, NY is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) for the upcoming school year. This is a strong opportunity to complete your Clinical Fellowship in a supportive, student-focused district with strong mentorship and collaborative teams. Position Overview

Full-time, Monday-Friday (35-40 hours/week)

Onsite role serving PreK-12 students (assignment based on district needs)

CF supervision provided by a licensed SLP

Full school-year contract with potential for renewal

Caseload Details

Average caseload: 35-55 students (varies by building)

Students with mild to moderate communication needs

Areas of service include:

Articulation & phonological disorders

Receptive/expressive language delays

Social/pragmatic communication needs

Fluency and voice disorders

Possible exposure to:

Autism spectrum disorders

AAC/assistive communication systems

Early childhood and elementary populations

Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations

Develop and implement IEP goals

Provide direct therapy (individual and small group)

Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers

Maintain documentation and compliance with district/state requirements

New York State Requirements (SLP-CF)

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Eligibility for Initial Teaching Certification (Speech and Language Disabilities) through the New York State Education Department

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship (CF) under a licensed SLP

Licensure through the New York State Office of the Professions

Passing the Praxis exam typically required for certification/licensure

Required fingerprinting and school clearance process
