A school district in Rochester, NY is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) for the upcoming school year. This is a strong opportunity to complete your Clinical Fellowship in a high-need, supportive urban school district with structured supervision and mentorship. Position Overview Full-time, Monday-Friday (35-40 hours/week) Onsite role serving PreK-12 students across assigned schools CF supervision provided by a licensed SLP Full school-year contract with potential for renewal Caseload Details Average caseload: 40-65 students (varies by school assignment) Diverse student population across general and special education settings Areas of service include: Articulation & phonological disorders Receptive/expressive language delays Social/pragmatic communication needs Fluency and voice disorders Likely exposure to: Autism spectrum disorders AAC/assistive communication devices Multilingual and economically diverse populations Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations Develop and implement IEP goals Provide direct therapy (individual and small group) Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Maintain documentation and compliance with district/state requirements New York State Requirements (SLP-CF) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Eligibility for Initial Teaching Certification (Speech and Language Disabilities) through the New York State Education Department Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship (CF) under a licensed SLP Licensure through the New York State Office of the Professions Passing the Praxis exam typically required for certification/licensure Required fingerprinting and school clearance process What We're Looking For Strong communication and clinical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse school environment Passion for supporting students with varied communication needs Commitment to completing Clinical Fellowship requirements Compensation for this position ranges from $36.70 to $56.70.
