School Nurse

The Elementary School Nurse or Nurse Assistant supports the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff throughout the school day. Responsibilities include providing basic medical care, administering medications as directed, responding to student illnesses and injuries, maintaining health records, and communicating with families and staff regarding student health needs. This role also helps promote a safe and healthy school environment while supporting student attendance, learning, and overall wellness. Strong communication skills, compassion for children, confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families are essential.
