TITLE: Administrative Assistant to the Special Education Director
REPORTS TO: Special Education Director
Haverhill Cooperative School District is seeking an energetic, organized, and highly motivated individual to join our Special Education Team
General Definition of Work:
To assist the Special Education Director in all aspects of administering the District Special Education Program, performing a wide variety of highly independent, confidential, and complex secretarial, clerical, and administrative support services.
To contribute to the effective, efficient and organized operations of the Central Office including: Purchase Orders and Requisitions, Budgets and Planning, State Reporting.
Qualifications:
- Great organizational skills and an ability to be flexible
- Exceptional ability to prioritize needs and maintain composure under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with special education regulations, compliance requirements and Medicaid to Schools
- Ability to work independently & assume responsibility
- Meet deadlines
- General knowledge of office equipment and procedures and programs such as Excel, Tyler/IVEE
- Maintain confidentiality
- Associates Degree preferred or equivalent 3 to 5 years relevant work experience
