    Job Description:
    Speech Language Pathologist to work during the summer completing evaluations for Birth through 5 year old students and provide B-3 services with the Cooperative's three member districts of Becker, Big Lake, and Monticello. This position is working in the three member districts of the Cooperative including Becker, Big Lake, and Monticello

    License & Experience:

    • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Minnesota
    • Valid Minnesota Driver's License
    • Knowledge and experience working with students with speech and language impairments
    • Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and families

    Essential Skills:

    • Knowledge and experience completing assessments and due process and follow timeline requirements of special education
    • Experience completing Part C and Part B evaluations
    • Must be able to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education
    • Team oriented approach when working with students, colleagues, families, and administrators
    • Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff
    • Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district
    • Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning
    • Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
    • Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred
