1.0 FTE Teacher/ Coordinator for Mohawk Trail Vocational Summer Program
We are interested in hiring a Teacher/Coordinator to plan and deliver a summer program for students currently enrolled in the MTRS Mohawk Trail Vocational Program, and who will enroll in the 23-day summer program at MTRS
The ideal candidate will be expected to:
Plan and develop a schedule of activities for students and staff prior to the start of the program
Have experience working in a comparable Vocational Program environment
Demonstrate the ability to plan a variety of activities for students in the program, both at MTRS and with community partners
Collaborate with Transportation, Food Services, and Nursing Services in relation to students in the program
Work with the Director of Student Services to confirm student participation
Line-manage a team of 1:1 teaching assistants tasked with supporting students in the program
Liaise with building administration to ensure that health and safety, emergency procedures, and processes are followed during
Salary: 184 Hours: 161 hours of Direct Instruction and 23 hours of Prep. $35 per hour, 8 hours a day (7 am - 3 pm. Students in the program from 8 - 2:30)
An additional planning stipend of $500 is available for the successful candidate
