You'll be joining a dynamic, student-focused team, working with a caseload of approximately 55 students, helping them overcome speech and language barriers and flourish in their academic environments. Key Qualifications: Valid SLPA license or certification required for California Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting strongly preferred Passion for working in educational environments with elementary and/or middle school populations Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Collaborative mindset, eager to work alongside speech-language pathologists, educators, and administrators No Clinical Fellowship SLPs (SLP CFs), as this position is for certified SLPAs only Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the guidance and supervision of a licensed SLP Support students' IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals with targeted therapy techniques Maintain accurate session notes and assist with progress monitoring and reporting Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote communication skills in the classroom Adapt therapy materials and strategies to meet each student's unique needs Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings This contract position runs from August 26 through June 27, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 30 hours per week.
