Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver against multiple competing deadlines, as needed Experience with Technical Training (Instructor Led, not E learning) Proficiency with MS Office tools (PPT, Experience with creating job aids and technical writing skills Excellent communication, writing and time management skills Ability to managing multiple priorities and deadlines Strong stakeholder engagement Self-motivated and adaptablePreferred Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Experience developing multi-year technical training programs for adult learners Experience with QuestionMark, Author-It, and/or Storyline Client Academy experience a plusRequired Soft Skills: Excellent analysis skills Strategic thinking and time management Ability to managing multiple priorities and deadlines Strong communication and stakeholder engagement Attention to detail and commitment to quality Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentInstructional Designer Job Responsibilities Design and develop instructor-led and on-the-job training for apprenticeships in the utilities industry Leverage and apply established instructional design methodologies to assess stakeholder needs, analyze complex content, and evaluate delivered training Develop learning materials for technical content, including hands-on practice activities, student guides, facilitator guides, scenarios, videos, assessments, simulations, and other instructional media Perform a detailed task analysis for each job function, business process, or system for which training will be developed Partner with cross-functional teams to conceptualize training design and content Define learning objectives, and course structure aligned to stakeholder needs and to meet the constraints of the learning environment Work under the direction of the Senior Instructional Designer to apply company standards, guidelines, and templates Write clear and effective instructional text, audio, or video scripts appropriate for the target audience Participate in milestone meetings with subject matter experts, including task analysis, alpha, beta, and train the trainer Engage with subject matter experts for ongoing content review and validation Receive and incorporate feedback Self-manage assigned tasks and deadlines to complete deliverables Proactively communicate issues and risksLocation Must be located in the Client territory Monthly to quarterly travel is required to Client locations Occasional overnight stays may be necessary to support client meetings and project milestones**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
