Jr/Sr High School Principal

Southeast Fountain Schools has an opening for Principal of Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School. Internal and external candidates will be considered. The selected candidate will serve as the chief administrator of the school in developing and implementing policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets in a manner that promotes the educational development of each student and the professional development of each staff member.
Position will remain open until filled.
Salary range $83,000 - $90,000.
Job Requirements
The selected candidate will be proficient in the following areas:
- General planning of the total school program
- General coordination with all legal, financial, and organizational structure
- Enhance personnel skills through facilitation of professional growth of school staff
- Coordinate implementation of instructional, extracurricular, and athletic program objectives
- Ensure curricular objectives are developed and implemented with fidelity in all classrooms
- Establish formal work relationships within the school, the district, and the community
- Evaluate performance of students and staff
- Facilitate organizational efficiency
- Manage and maintain records of all school materials, supplies, and equipment
- Help to supervise students and spectators at extracurricular activities
Qualifications
- Hold or be able to obtain a valid Indiana Administrator's License
- A minimum of a Master's degree in school administration
- A minimum of five (5) years successful experience as a classroom teacher
- A minimum of three (3) years successful experience as a school administrator preferred

This 220 day contract July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 includes:
