Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC credentials
  • Valid New York SLP license (required for onsite practice)
  • Previous experience providing speech therapy in a school setting is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and students across all grades K-12

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in a K-12 setting
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, IEP conferences, and in-service training as needed
  • Deliver both individual and small group therapy based on student needs
  • Educate school staff and family members on strategies to support student progress and communication
