Assistant Principal

Assistant Principal - Abingdon Elementary School

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have successful experience as a teacher. Preference will be given to those with prior administrative experience. Must hold a Virginia teaching license with the endorsement of Principal or of Administration and Supervision, PreK-12. Must work effectively with parents, students, teachers, administrators, and the public.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Effective: July 1, 2026; 12-month (250-day) contract

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience

Benefits: VRS pension and life insurance, medical/dental insurance, sick, vacation and personal days
