Literacy Coach/Dyslexia/GT

The Literacy Coach / Dyslexia Interventionist drives school-wide literacy achievement. This specialist coaches educators in the Science of Reading and delivers intensive, evidence-based interventions to students with characteristics of dyslexia within a framework.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver explicit, systematic interventions to individuals or small groups.
• Implement dyslexia-specific curricula and track student progress.
• Partner with classroom teachers to analyze data, model lessons, and provide feedback.
• Design professional learning sessions centered on evidence-based reading practices.
• Collaborate with Special Education and 504 teams to ensure compliance.
• Partner with families to share home-based literacy strategies.Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Reading, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Valid State Teaching Certification.
• Certified training in a research-based dyslexia program (e.g., Take Flight)
• 3-5 years of classroom teaching experience with proven reading growth.
