Job Description:

• Demonstrates expertise in school health nursing practices and emergency procedures.
• Knowledge of community and faculty dynamics, current health issues, and wellness education.
• Knowledge of health and social services resources
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, non-school health professionals, and social service agencies.
• Computer literate, organized, and can multitask.

Job Requirements:

• NJ Department of Education School Nurse Standard Certificate
• A current NJ-registered professional nurse license issued by the NJ State Board of Nursing.

Salary Range:
$70,021- $85,888

Additional Employment Requirements:

• Approved criminal history background check for district 3710
• Pass the Trash approval
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Current residency in New Jersey or approved residency waiver, or candidate agreement to obtain residency within one year of employment.
