Play a vital role in supporting students communication and academic growth while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Several full-time openings are available, each offering 37.5 hours per week. Caseloads include approximately 60 students and cover a variety of settings:

  • Elementary positions serving grades K-6
  • Developmental preschool (ages 3-5, not in kindergarten), with potential to include elementary students
  • Secondary level role spanning two buildings and serving grades 7-12

Youll have the flexibility to select a setting that aligns with your interests and expertise. Each role emphasizes impactful intervention, collaboration with school staff, and ongoing parental communication.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Washington State SLP license
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or school-based SLPA experience
  • Previous school-based experience highly valued

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy to support speech, language, communication, and social skills
  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with school and regulatory requirements
