Position Summary

Bruneau-Grand View Joint School District is seeking an energetic and student-focused Secondary Principal to lead Rimrock Junior Senior High School. The principal will provide leadership for grades 6-12 in a small, supportive rural school environment serving approximately 150 students.

The successful candidate will work closely with staff, students, families, and the community to promote academic excellence, positive school culture, and strong relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide instructional leadership and supervision of secondary staff.

Foster a positive, safe, and productive learning environment for students.

Support and evaluate teachers and staff to promote continuous improvement.

Implement district and state policies and procedures.

Monitor student achievement and support strategies to improve outcomes.

Manage student discipline and promote positive behavior supports.

Collaborate with district administration and community stakeholders.

Oversee daily school operations including scheduling, activities, and supervision.

Support extracurricular programs and school events.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.

Valid Idaho Administrator Certificate or the ability to obtain one.

Successful teaching experience required.

Prior administrative or leadership experience preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the community.
