Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CF candidates considered
  • Previous experience working with pediatrics, ideally in a school-based setting
  • Solid knowledge of therapy techniques for a range of speech and language disorders

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students, addressing a variety of needs
  • Evaluate students using standardized assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective strategies tailored to each child
  • Complete timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to the team
  • Provide support and adjustment of therapy techniques based on every childs progress
