Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist this coming school year, working with a dedicated cohort of students near Philadelphia, PA. This full-time position runs from August through June, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM. As part of a collaborative educational community, you'll provide direct therapy services to approximately 22 students who are blind or visually impaired and have multiple disabilities. This role is designed for someone passionate about making a tangible difference, supporting students across a range of ages and unique needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license with CCC or CFY eligibility
• Experience in pediatric settings or school-based caseloads
• Expertise in teletherapy or willingness to incorporate digital platforms
• Familiarity with serving students who are blind, visually impaired, or have multiple disabilities
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to student-centered, individualized therapy practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a mixed-age caseload of 22 students
• Design and implement IEP-driven interventions tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and other related service providers
• Utilize teletherapy tools as appropriate to enhance student access and engagement
• Maintain thorough documentation of progress, session notes, and compliance requirements
• Actively participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
