Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and eligibility to practice in New Mexico
• Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with elementary, middle, and high school students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and effectively
• Commitment to fostering student growth and participation within the school community

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to students, with an emphasis on elementary caseloads but also supporting middle and high school as needed
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to implement accommodations and support strategies
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for goal setting and service plans
• Engage in both direct therapy sessions and consultative services within an educational framework
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize functional outcomes
