Commensurate with experience

REPORTS TO:

Associate Principal

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Master's Degree in School Counseling

Ohio School Counselor License

Ability to work with students of varied ability levels

Flexibility to work with various schedules and grade levels

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Effective student/parent/community communication skills

Experience working with high school age students

Post-secondary planning and application process

Career planning

Special needs awareness

Communication, problem-solving and decision-making

Conflict resolution

Substance abuse education

Multicultural/Diversity awareness

Individual and small-group counseling

Individual/family/school crisis intervention

Technology related skills
