Description: Interim Director of Special Services
Qualifications:
- New Jersey Principal Certification
- A minimum of five years' experience as a Child Study Team Member or Special Education Teacher or Student Services position
- Special Education experience in administration or alternatives that the Superintendent and Board may find appropriate
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of special education law, code and guidelines
- Oversee the district special education programs, child study team, and school nursing services
- Responsible for supporting completion of state and federal reporting, IDEA, and SEMI
- Primary responsibility for all child find activities and community outreach programs
- Familiar with Frontline and Genesis platforms preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Location: District
Salary Range: $450 - $600/per day
Start Date: July 1, 2026
End Date: August 31, 2026 (estimated)
