Registered Nurse School Setting - Rockford, IL

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students' health and wellbeing as an onsite registered nurse. In this full-time role, you'll work one-on-one with a student who requires specialized medical care while at school, making a significant difference each day.

You'll be assigned either to a 3-year-old who is ventilator dependent or to an 18-year-old student with tracheostomy needs. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will allow these students to participate more fully in their educational environment, knowing they have dedicated care.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois (IL RN)
• Experience with pediatric care, preferably within school settings
• Skilled in ventilator and/or tracheostomy management
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, staff, and families
• Professional, reliable, and adaptable to changing daily circumstances

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct medical care and monitoring to your assigned student throughout the school day
• Respond promptly to any healthcare needs or emergencies
• Coordinate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure seamless care
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and reporting for all health services delivered
• Participate in meetings, training, or consultations as required
