Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active California SLP license and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in school settings, particularly at the elementary level, is highly valued
  • Strong clinical skills addressing speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities for collaborating with students, teachers, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to an elementary caseload as outlined in students IEPs
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student's unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate student success
  • Maintain detailed records, documentation, and compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for students needs
