Collaborate with a dedicated team as you travel between sites in the district, delivering vital speech-language services and contributing to students' growth.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current SLPA licensure or eligibility in Maryland
- Experience in school-based or healthcare settings working as an SLPA
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; comfort with itinerant roles
- Experience supporting students with diverse physical, cognitive, or social needs is highly valued
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student goals
- Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services under supervision of an SLP
- Implement IEPs for a varied caseload of students in specialized programs
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and support staff
- Maintain timely documentation and assist with assessments
- Attend paid team meetings, participate in ongoing training, and engage in administrative duties as assigned
- Travel between assigned schools (itinerant position; paid travel time) to meet students needs
- Support positive student outcomes within a supportive, multidisciplinary team
