Step into an impactful role supporting students across the Western Region in the Hornell and Bath areas as a dedicated speech-language pathologist in a full-time, onsite contract opportunity. You will work with a mix of PreK and elementary caseloads, using your expertise to enhance communication skills and help students thrive both academically and socially.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist (NYSLP) License
  • Current Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with PreK and elementary students, is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, speech/language assessment, and therapeutic intervention
  • Ability to work independently onsite and communicate effectively with school staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop therapy plans for students with communication disorders
  • Deliver speech and language therapy services according to each students IEP and educational goals
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families across the Hornell and Bath area schools
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student progress and independence
