Speech & Language Pathologist Assistant

Duties

• Knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapy techniques
• Ability to implement treatment plans created by an SLP
• Accurate data collection and documentation skills
• Familiarity with therapy materials, assistive technology, or AAC devices
• Strong communication skills, organization and time management, and patience and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Must meet one of the following: Associate degree from an approved SLPA program, OR Bachelor's

degree in:

• Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or Related field

(from an approved program)

• Minimum of 100 supervised clinical hours
• Must hold an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license
• Will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Salary/Benefits

Based on union negotiated contract agreement.

Expected start date - August 2026; Position will be filled as soon as a suitable applicant is found
