School-Based Physical Therapist - Eastover, South Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapy license in South Carolina (SC PT License required)
• Experience providing physical therapy services to school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 setting
• Flexibility and strong organizational skills to manage an itinerant schedule across several campuses
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with interdisciplinary teams, educators, students, and families
• Commitment to ethical practice and student safety in all interventions and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students at various school locations as part of an onsite-only contract role
• Assess students motor skills and functional mobility needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Work closely with classroom teachers and Special Education staff to adapt tasks and environment for students participation
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and progress updates
• Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed
